Internet stop working with Wireless router.

Ive had a Linksys wireless router hooked up on a wired cable to my downstairs PC and sending wireless internet to my upstairs room PC. I built another computer about 3 weeks ago and I placed it in between my router and my room computer.

Ever since then my internet stops working on all the PC's, not sure about the wired one. Then I have to restart my Router and Modem.

When the internet stops working I can ping the router still.
ping 192.168.1.1
1ms
1ms
1ms

And so on....

Suggestions?

[EDIT]
Oh, and ever since I placed the new PC I have a weird Internet Gateway thing in my network profiles or whatever.

I think we need to know more information.

Make/model of the modem and router. Windows version and patch level of the machines in question. More specifics as to how often the Internet stops working and under what conditions.

Have you checked the router's status page when you lose internet connectivity to see what is says about the connection? Have you connected a single machine directly to the broadband modem to see if it's a router/network thing, or a modem/ISP issue?

When it's running, and again when it fails, please do this:

Open a DOS window and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.
