i just fixed a problem i had been having with this thing, had to reformat the whole thing, i tried defrag and ad ware checks but my internet is just going sooo slow...when i see the bytes received and sent, received is up to 3 million and sent is only 2000, when usually it's the other way around.....i don' tknow how to fix it, it's just soo sluggish , annoying as anything, can anybody help? thanks,

How are you connected, directly to a cable/dsl modem? Dialup?

Have you checked to make sure you don't have any of the latest viruses (Slammer, sobig)? Are all your OS updates, patches up to date?

Double check your NIC settings. If you're on Autonegotiate, or its equivalent, try changing it to 100Mbps Full Duplex, or 10Mbps Half Duplex. If no effect, change back to Autonegotiate.
