Hi all

I have a network of 50 pc and one router, the problem i have is the internet
goes on and off every 10 to 15min the intervals are 30sec long.

If this would help : The router is connected to a Unix machine that allocates
automatic IP's for computers.


All cables go through a patch cabinet then to two 3com Hubs

Hello and Welcome to TSF!

This can be either the network cables, crossover cable between your Hubs, or the the Hubs itself. Why not use a Switch instead of a Hub?

Sorry, all cable go through a patch pannel and then to two 3comm switches.
An Adsl modem, how many pc's could one connect to a single router...
to get the best performance.
