Alright, here’s the deal. I’m running Windows XP and we recently downloaded Mozilla FireFox. Today Firefox and Internet Explorer will not open. They have an error message that states that they must be shut down. The message randomly appears on screen every so often with no real pattern to it. The only way to use them is to wait for a pop-up to come up. It seems to be friendly to those! I’m on strike 3 of typing this. I’m actually typing it on word and saving every so many tries to get this out before the computer randomly shuts off again, which also started today.

I have never done this before but here’s my Hijack This! Log:

If you could tell me what the specific problem is, that would be awesome.
(If you can tell me how to remove all negative components, you’re a God(ess) among (wo)men!)

If you receive an error - \system32\Autoexec.nt is not suitable for running MS-Dos applications, you will need to visit this website to download additional files.
