Internet Connection Won't Work

:upset: I am running a dual boot system with Win98 and XP Pro. I have set up my internet connection on both systems with identical settings. On Win98 I am using IE5.5 and on XP Pro I am using IE6. The connection to the net on XP is fine but on Win98, it will dial out,connect to my ISP and then it says Verifying User name and password twice and makes no further progress. I have checked all of the settings including my phone number, user name and password and my ISP settings and all is OK. I don't know what else to do......HELP..............Dave
