internal SAS into external drives

I was given 3 SAS drives, but I don't have room for a SAS controller in my desktop\server. I have a couple eSATA and a few USB ports available. I am looking for an affordable way to make these internal SAS drives external disks connected via those ports.

A single SAS to a single eSATA or USB port or multiple drives to a single port, either way. Just looking for a way to make an internal SAS drive an external one inexpensively.

Anyone have any good options. I found a cheap SAS to SAS external enclosure. Can I just use a SAS to eSATA cable and they'll work?

Am I just dreaming?
