Specs:
Intel Core i3 540 3.0Ghz
Gigabyte H55M-USB3
IntelChipset
4096MB Mbytes DDR3 Dual Channel RAM 666MHz
Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT 1024MBytes
Antec 620W Power Supply
1TB Sata HDD

Problem: As stated above intermittent power off usually during high stress eg. gaming (but not always). The computer then fails to come back on until the PS unplugged and switched off for 30m-1h.

Solutions tried thus far:
- Changed Power Supply Unit even upgraded to a 750w no difference
- Upgraded cooling with two 120mm case fans and a huge beast of a cpu cooler that attched two 120mm fans on it, so thermal shutdown should't be the issue.
- Memory tested overnight no errors
-Changed power loss restore settings in bios to full-on
-Took out all components checked for shorts ect.

Conclusion: Might be the Motherboard, or Fried CPU before we got adequate cooling (though doubtful)

What do you think? I wanted a second opinion before I invest in a new Mobo.

Sounds like a power issue or overhjeating.
Brand & Model of the new PSU?
What model was the Antec?
Have you monitored the temps while the PC is in use?
