We all know that stop errors are generally hardware or driver related.

After a 6 hour battle with stop: 0x0000007e, and troubleshooting with every trick in the book, I finally asked the person what exact day the problem began(she couldn't remember when I initially asked). Now with this information, I found the event that occured before the stop errors began - installing IE7.

Uninstalled IE7 and no more errors.

Just wanted to share.
