Hi everyone, this is my second time here... so excuse me if this is the wrong place. Here I go:

My PC:
Motherboard: Intel D915GAV
Micro: P4, 3Ghz
RAM: 1GB DDR 400
VGA: ATI x300 128mb PCI-e
Power Supply: CODEGEN 450W (orange)

Recently I bought a XFX GeForce 9500GT 512MB DDR3... and here comes the problem: Once I uninstall the ATI and switch to the GeForce... the coolers starts but the system seems not to boot, the monitor goes in stand by mode.. and nothing else happens. I've tried many many things wihout getting any result. However, If I switch cards again.. the ATI works (need to install drivers again... but it works)

I know about the PCI-e 1 and PCI-e 2 "vice versa" relation, so I think that's not the problem... neither de Power Supply, it seems OK.

Any idea?

The Codegen power supply may be struggling and not have enough power. If this were a Corsair 450, it might pull it, but Codegen is a very weak supply. I would like to see a 550 watt supply for optimum usage. Do you know someone who has a better power supply you could try in there?
