Just got an Intel Desktop D815EEA motherboard, p/n: A10380-406. Intel's website says it supports Celeron up to 800 mHz. and Pentium III up to 1 gHz with latest BIOS revision. The most detailed information I can find is it supports processors that draw no more than 18.2A current, and vcore between 1.65 and 2.0 volts. 66/100/133.
Can I run a 1 gHz. Celeron processor, so long as it's the higher voltage Coppermine rather than the newer 1.45v version?
Second, I think you can add on a CNR riser in one of the PCI slots...any idea where to get one and what the part is? Specific to the motherboard? Thanks!!!
