Hi,

I just put together an Intel Atom system, using the Motherboard / CPU combo D945GCLF2 with the N330 CPU and the GMA 950 onboard video. When I connect it to my LCD monitor with a VGA cable at 1280X1024 @ 60Hz the screen trembles and has horizontal lines through it kind of like the weird artifacts you see when you play a damaged VHS tape. Adjusting the monitors phase and pitch makes it a little better, but nothing makes it go away. Do I need to get a DVI video card or is there something I can do to make this go away? This is insanely irritating. Thanks!

Regards,

Thomas

is the cable attached fully?

is the cable new? do you have a spare to try?

Have you tried adjusting the refresh rate?

I would suspect since you have onboard video that it's either a connection issue or cable issue.
