Recently I bought a new computer from Digital Storm and it is only a few months old. I was playing an online game when all of a sudden I disconnected. I also found that other devices (Xbox 360) on my network weren't able to connect to the internet as well. Several hours later I was able to connect on my Xbox 360, but not my computer. I know little about networking, but I used ipconfig on my computer and this is what it showed:
Code:
Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 2:

   Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Ethernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
   Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::38b2:cc6c:c7a:d7de%14
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.56.1
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

Tunnel adapter isatap.{906B5652-C06E-48BE-8354-13F9D0774C2E}:

   Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Tunnel adapter Local Area Connection* 11:

   Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
   Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Both my Xbox 360 and and PC are directly connected to the router/gateway and I have reset and unplugged everything several time by now.

If it helps my motherboard is a:
Code:
EVGA X58 SLI 3 Edition, Model Number: 131-GT-E767
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello,

Make sure that you have a Static IP assigned to your Xbox.

Also, pls. provide a detail ipconfig /all => in run or search box type cmd, run as Admin press enter. Open up a command prompt then Copy and Paste these ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt . Please attach the .txt file to be found in your Local Disk 'C' on your next post.
