Installing xp pro

my friend gave me her pc to intall win xp pro onto her dell 2400 which currently had xp home.


i made a copy a of my win xp sp2 disk and formatted her hard drive and installed it....

when it started to install it said it was installed home?


i was like ***? i dont even own home edition...


could somebody explain this to me...?

hey silverwolf,

i dont know if you will get help because this involves a pirated issue. the mods dont like it when there is piracy involved.

Yup ... pirated software is a no-no... I suggest that she purchase a valid retail version, and go from there.
