my hard drive died so i bought a new hard drive but the winxp pro disc i have is a non bootable disc how can i either make a boot floppy to boot it or change the disc to a boot disc many thanx in advance
oh i made a msdos boot disc on the formatt table of the floppy but dont know if i can put in a comand path to access setup or what that comand path is wen i booted on the floppy dos showed thi:

Your XP disc should be bootable. Have you set the CD drive as the 1st boot device in the BIOs??

yea i put bios to boot on cd drive first i
i used this disc to upgrade windows origanaly but wen i try to boot from it i get :
boot disc failier insert system disc and press enter

Is this a upgrade version or a full installation version of windows ?
