How do I install the same program twice without the installer finding it already installed?

I have a program I want to install on another drive on my computer but when I try it already finds it installed in C:

When I run the install I get:

I want to install it on the second drive so I can test the update without changing my first install.

Hope this makes sense to someone

Thx

You can't. Most programs will make changes to the registry and copy some files to windows\system\ or to documents and settings\user\application data.

If you want to try the update without changing your current installation at all you'll have to install it on another computer.

If you fear to loose your settings should do decide to uninstall the update, save the corresponding program files folder in a separate folder before you do the update. If you lost some settings once you removed the update, replacing your files with these ones should do.
