Hello,
I am using my company laptop and i do not have administrative previlages. Because of this i am unable to install any software. It is very difficult process to take persmission from IT team as it involves lot of approvals. It took nearly one month to get an approval for SP2 installation :4-dontkno. Can anyone help me to find out any other way to install without depending on the Admin team. Much appreciated.

Hey. Sorry i'm not gonna give you the answer to this, because to be honest i'm not sure on the rules of what help you can and cannot give on these forums. I'm also not sure of what trouble not me, but yourself at work could get into if you tried it.

I will be honest though. There are a few methods you can use to gain administrative rights in order to install software if your using windows XP as you have stated under your user name.

One or two of them being exploits in Windows XP.

But like i said, i'm not sure of the in's and out's of these forums and what kinda of trouble you would get into at work. It's a hassle by the sounds of things but i recommend you just get them to sort it for you.
