Consider CentOS 5.3 x86_64 "netinstall". Download/burn the .iso image from any of the locations listed on the CentOS site, follow the instructions and rock-n-roll.

I have AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core processor with opn number ADA5200CZBOX.I am currently using windows xp2.I tried ubuntu 8.10,fedora 8,suse,slackwire but non of them got installed.for example,when i tried ubuntu,i selected 'ubuntu install' option,then at the next step,screen appeared blank and only cursor at the left top was blinking.i waited for long time but nothing has happened.:upset:

with ubuntu and the screen goes blank select the options and go for safe install
that is after selecting your language and you have the install menu in front of you, hit key F4 and select safe graphics mode ..

Hi,
You want to make sure that when you are burning livecd's that you choose the slowest burn speed. For instance most burning programs have a list for you to choose from. You want to make sure that you are choosing to burn your cd's from the 2x, 4x or the lowest setting that you have.
