hi.i am unsure if anyone can help but here goes,i am trying to install farstone restoreit back up and recovery,but i keep getting an error message that says i do not have enough contiguous space and to defragment my drive.however i am using a ssd and so cannot do that.

Sounds like to me you're running out of available space on your SSD. Can you post a screen shot of "this pc" ...aka my computer and one of your disk management window?
