Okay

Motherboard: Gigabyte |GA-7VRXP (Rev 1.1)|

RAM DIMM 1:
512mb
DDR SDRAM
PC2700 (333 MHz)

RAM DIMM 2:
512mb
DDR SDRAM
PC2700 (333 MHz)

RAM DIMM 3: (what i want to have installed)
512mb
DDR SDRAM
PC2700 (333 MHz)

All of the RAM is the same and they all work in combination with each other in the first 2 slots. My problem is when I add the third one into the mix, my computer crashes with no error message and no beeping. It just crashes IF it even boots up. What could be the problem?

(the Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7VRXP (Rev 1.1) only has 3 DIMM slots)

ANY help in this matter is GREATLY appreciated, TY for your time

Are all 3 sticks of the PC2700 the same brand?
According to GB's website, those 3 sticks should work.
From Gigabyte's site: GA-7VRXP (Rev 1.1)
1. Type : DDR333 (PC2700) / DDR266 (PC2100) / DDR200 (PC1600) -184pin
2. Max capacity : Up to 3GB by 3 DIMM slots(DDR266/200)
I believe using the one stick of PC2100 will cause the two sticks of PC2700 to run at PC2100. That's the way Intel MOBO's work.

All 3 sticks of PC2700 are not the same brand...but i have tried every combination of 2 together and they are compatible with each other in every situation...but all 3...and the crashes commence...and i also checked with Gigabyte and yes all signs say that this SHOULD work...but it just doesnt want to...

(and BTW putting the PC2100 in there does make them run at 2100 instead of 2700...and it sucks because its not that big of an upgrade as such...would be way more useful if all 3 of the PC2700 sticks would work)
