Install Question

This is kind of a retarded question.... But a question I have none the less. Can you wear out your hard drive faster if you frequently install, and uninstall programs? There is two reasons I am asking.

1. I could not decide if I wanted to have a game installed on my computer. I kept rage quitting, and getting pissed off because it would crash sometimes... So I kept uninstalling it, than I would reinstall it...

2. For my own interest. I am trying to learn more about computers, as I find them interesting, so any weird questions I have I figured I would ask.

Thank you in advance for your answers, I greatly appreciate them. :p

To answer your question: No. Reinstalling software will not make your drive fail more frequently.

If you think about it, when you install an app, you are simply writing data to your drive.
