I just did a setback on my computerand now am trying to clear out old unused programs thru control panel. When I try to delete any program I get the message "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file" . I dont know what has happened. Before I did the setback I had no problem and had previously deleted these programs. Could that be the problem now? and how do i fix it?

This is all I could find for you

Find the link to the Windows bug here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q191211 I had the same problem with CoffeeCup FTP Free. I copied the INSTALL.LOG file to C:\, then modified the uninstall link in the registry (see the support page above) to 1. read "program files" instead of progra~1, and 2. point to C:\install.log instead of program files\...\install.log. It's gone now.
