Inspiron 2200 CD drive causing problems
The CD drive on my laptop stopped working on me a few days ago.
When I remove it I get an error stating that "the device in the modular bay is not recognised".
When it's installed I get an error stating "no internal harddrive detected".
I bought a new CD drive but I'm getting the same problem with it. I stripped down the laptop and checked the connector in the modular bay and it looks fine.
Any suggestions please?
