I am using InDesign and printing to PDF using File- Print method (rather than File-Export to PDF), with settings that work brillantly when I view my PDF on screen.

The problem begins when I am printing. Sometimes, the images come out with a cross over the top of a greyed out box the same size as my existing image, as in http://www.schoolportraits.com.au/rachel/PDF to Konica.jpg (looks like the image when you are in optimised display). Other times it adds a white border around images that are transparent, as in http://www.schoolportraits.com.au/rachel/stamp bad.jpg.

What I can't understand is why my files look awesome on screen, but print out like this. It is a worry when we are printing large runs of booklets. The other thing is that this is a random problem. I'll print the book out again straight afterwards and with no worries at all. This, to our company is a real problem.

Maybe it's the imposition in the Konica print preferences?

Any help would be appreciated.
Rachel.
