Hi guys - I'm new to installing hard drives etc... was messing around with partitions and utilities etc. now stuck with a Maxtor DiamondMax 21 - 250gb Hard drive that now displays only 68 gigs - There is no data on the drive so any help to get my drive displaying the full size is appreciated. Got a copy of Hiren's Boot cd 9.8 with keyboard support.

What does disk management show for the drive size? Does it show the rest as unallocated space or a total drive size of 68 GB. If it is showing a total drive size of 68 GB try this http://blog.atola.com/restoring-factory-hard-drive-capacity/
