Hi. I've already tried resolving my problem by contacting the official Dell and Alienware support but nobody seems to be able to help me. I recently purchased an Alienware M14X-R2 which came preinstalled with Windows 8. While everything else works fine, the system does not seem to be detecting the in-built webcam at all. Device Manager does not show me any Imaging Device. I have also checked the Dell website and no webcam driver appears to be available for Windows 8. The webcam driver installation tool for Windows 7 doesn't work either. Finally, I have tried updating the BIOS as well but this does not resolve my problem either. Can anyone help me fix this, please?
