I use to not get this problem before. But now, everytime i start up windows 2000, i get a stop error screen with this:

inaccessible_boot_device error
Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controller. Check your hard drive to make sure it's properly configured and terminated. Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption and then restart your computer.

How the hell am i able to check for viruses and run chkdsk if win2k hast loaded yet? I installed a 120 GB hard drives a few months ago and this message never appeared once! My specs:
Radeon 9800se
AMD Athlon 3200xp
1 GB RAM

Yes it should. Once in recovery console, be prepared for chkdsk to take a while. Don't worry if it even takes a few hours with that particular error. Hopefully, it will fix the problems on the hard disk.
