Photos on a disk from a recovered computer appears when scrolling, then suddenly disappears and cant load. Windows image viewer shows a black picture, and other image viewers displays "File may be corrupt or damaged"... The thing is that the photo has to be there because windows explorer shows it briefly... Any fix? I understand some of the images probably are damaged, but at least 60% of them load in explorer(but not when i open them)

What shows in File Explorer is from the thumbnail cache constructed from the image files, and probably long before they were damaged. There can be plenty of thumbnails that are just fine in the cache, but the actual files from which they were created way back when are damaged beyond repair.

Thats what i feared... Any way to fetch thumbnails only? And what resolution are they 512? 1024?
