i just installed adobe photoshop CS4 and every time i try to open an image it will turn out like this



it will work if i really zoom it

anybody knows what the problem is?

It's possible that the installation is faulty. If it happens in every image then it's a program error.. I would uninstall everything, clean your computer with a good registry cleaner and do a clean install.

I have no problem with you uninstalling a program and then reinstalling it and that may be a good idea as a first step. However, I have a real BIG problem with you using a registry cleaner unless you are skilled in that area.

Do not go there unless guided by someone who has knowledge in that area or you could lose everything on your computer if you delete (or let a program delete) something in the registry without the proper guidance.

I reinforce the comments from Tumbleweed with respect to the use of registry cleaners.

However, with respect to your PS CS4 problem the only thing that I suggest is checking your scratch disk setting in PS Edit-->Preferences-->Performance. If you can, set up the scratch disk on a different drive to the one that the programme is on.

I have been using Photoshop for many years but have never seen this particular problem before. Please let us know how you resolve it.
