don't know much about wi-fi but it could be a firewall block.
i'm confused
i'm not sure if this is the correct forum but thats my delema.i use piolet p2p for downloading my music online but the thing is that at home it works fawlessly but at work which is at an airport i use the free wifi to connect to the internet and no songs will not donwload the front page of the program does connect to the internet with its adds etc. i thought that they might have blocked p2p sharing but there are guys that i download bearshare and it works very good. i do use :a wireless router at home. so i guess i'm ask for any sugestions. just found it strange and being the person i am just wants to invetigate into it.:4-dontkno

i did think of that but why would bearshare work on my friends laptop using the same signal.i even thought it might have to do with the proxys etc. thanks for the reply.
