I have a webcam installed into my Dell Laptop. The webcam light is always on. Also, it won't let me use skype or take pictures with my webcam. It says that my webcam has been disconnected. What should I do?

Hello and Welcome to TSF!

Try this easy fix, it's an odd one, but it works for a few people that has the same issue as yours. Do you have any USB exernal devices? Plug it in while you're on Skype then test your webcam if it works.

If it doesn't work, uninstall/reinstall driver/software for your webcam.
