IE7 will not start

Keep track of messages so you can post with some good info if neither following approach works;

If you cannot uninstall;

I deleted sp3 and then ie7.Reloaded sp3 and downloaded ie8 and installed it.When I started ie8 the first time I received error message as before except process id was 0x850(2128) and thread id was 0x8cc(2252).
I tried ie8 again and another error message.process id =0xa1c(2588)thread id=0xa70(2672)
Next step reload XP ?

I know this is tedious, but did IE6 run without messages when you had deleted IE7 ?

I deleted ie8 again(which was a beta 2) and tried to run ie and got 2 error messages:-

process id=0xaf8(2808) thread id=0xb60(2912) and

process id=0xb88(2952) thread id=0xc04(3076)
