Windows XP SP3 with Office 2007 and IE7. Net framework 3.5
When you try to open a file with the .xps extension IE briefly opens and then closes without warning. Support docs suggest Net Framework uninstall and reinstall which I did. The same file opens on other computers but not this one. It also will not open for any users on this computer including administrators. File association is the same as the other computers. Looking for ideas on what else could be causing this issue.

Have you tried to update to .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and IE8?
Or reset your IE7 settings to default and disable addons.

I've done all of that except IE8 which is not supported on our computers.

Did the XPS Viewer not work either?

No, the xps viewer did the same thing, opened for a second or two then closed. None of our other computers that are set up the same are experiencing the same issue.
