Hi, I'm hoping that someone can help figure out where the is.... In the last couple of months I've been having problems loading websites on IE the first go. I keep getting the message 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' even when I have full internet connect. At first I thought there was a virus on my computer but I scanned the computer and found no viruses. Also it doesn't have anything to do with the website or traffic problem because this happens even on the googe website or hotmail/gmail/yahoo/websuduku. Funny thing is the websites eventually load after I refresh the screen 5to 10 times or more. I tried cleaning out all the history and cookies but still doesn't work. The operating system that I have is Windows Vista.

Hi Go The Power,

I've tried to reset the internet explorer default settings, but I still have the same problem. Any other suggestions?? Do you think if would be useful to reinstall IE v7.0.6000.16681??

Also how can I find out whether it is a problem with IE because when I use Mozilla I sometimes get that problem as well, just not as servre. OR could it be a problem with my ISP even thought there perfect connection to the internet??

Any help would be appreciated.

by networked I meant if it was wireless, or pluged into a modem etc
Hello!!

So glad to hear from you, i thought you'd given up on me...
I have a wireless modem, and just the normal windows firewall nothing else.

Also I've checked with my labtop, and the browser worked fine! Must be my computer...
