I have the newest version of IE i think (it would be 6 or 8). i also have Aol. IE is set to work with AOL, so i can sign onto Aol and than use IE. With one of my screen names IE will not work, it says that it Cannot find sever. all screen names are on the same acount and i want through all the internet properties.
What can i do so i can use this screen name and IE at the same time.

What are the parental controls for that account? If that account has restricted access, then internet explorer will not work under that screen name unless you lift the controls.

that is true also if the ie dont work which it should and it is 6.0 the ie. what i would do is go to start system tools and then when it is done loading the page go to tools on top of the screen and press repair internet explorer. that will get all the bugs out. and then restart the computer.

It really doesnt matter what computer you have as long as it is a pentium, but if your cpu is slow 266mghz or less i would suggest using the ie 5.5 you dont want to take up memory. but again this has nothing to do with your problem.

I had just upgarded IE, but even before i upgraded it i had the same problem. Could it be a bug if it only happens to one screen name?

I would say no, since in order for this to be happening to only one screen name it would need to be an issue with the screen name's settings and not IE
