I have a problem with any saved htm/html pages on my computer, the icon shows as the default application icon (see attached file), any shortcuts show fine, with the E logo, and the IE icons on the quicklaunch/desktop/start menu all work fine. If I go into file types and change the icon, the screen refreshes, flicks to the generic windows icon then resets to the application icon again, the only way i've managed to show the E logo was to delete the listings for HTM and HTML files and create them again manually, but this causes problems with some programs, saying there is no registered browser. I've previousl had a problem where all my desktop icons had the E logo over the top of the correct icon, that was fixed a while ago, but I don't know if they are related problems, I've only just noticed the incorrect icons (I don't know if they screwed up when I fixed the other problem) and now I've noticed it, it's bugging me!

Any help will be appreciated.
Herc.
