Hey John,

I already went to the MS site and downloaded IE 6, SP1 and installed
it. Seemed to help for a day or so. Now the first time we type in an
address in IE, we get errors and browser shuts down:

IE has caused an error in USER.DLL
or
IE has caused an error in TOOLBAR.DLL
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The above is part of an email from a friend in AZ. It seems that she did some "clean up" on her machine, and probably cleaned too much. She runs Windows ME.

I know I've seen this problem before, but this AM, I am blanked out and my searching is not helping.

What am I looking at here and what does she need to do?
