I was snooping around in my internet options and accidently deleted the certs. So, when I go to a secure website I get a "Security Alert" window saying that "a problem with the site security cert". I go to view the cert and install it and it does not show up in the area where I installed the cert. How can I make sure cert is installed correctly?

I solved my problem. My OS WIN 2000 Pro ( NT 5.0) has a pre-installed IE 6 on the system. So, I could not perform a clean un-install/re-install as I tried to. If my IE was an add-on the problem would be fixed. By default IE has the certs already installed. Somehow the re-install cert wizard did not work as it was suppose to. Since I really did not want to re-install WIN 2000 Pro and I had used Friefox before, I installed Firefox 3.0.1.0 instead. Firefox loaded with all it's pre-installed certs and my surfing (cert security window) problem is solved. :wave:
