IE 6 No Arrows

First I'd like to say TIA. I have an old system running Win 2000 with all the newest updates, now all of a sudden when I go on line my Ie 6 has no ARROWS. I can go from web site to web site with no problem, but I can't move backward or forward thru the pages.
Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.

Check your view/toolbar settings, do you have the Back button showing?
