The default setting for XP, is to only have the recycle bin on the desktop. So things seem to be normal?
Icons are gone
I recently had to do a fresh install of Win XP Pro. When i came and logged in for the first time all of the main icons like My Computer, My Documents, etc. where all gone except for Recycle Bin. I'm just wondering how do i get these icons back?

When i first installed XP it had everything on the desktop, so i thought that was the default setting. Well i figured it out anyway. Thanks.
Just a blurb to everyone else:
To show the classic desktop that everyone loves you:
Right-Click on the desktop>Properties>click on "Desktop" tab> Then it either adavanced or customize dekstop. I don't remember since I am at work and using 2K. :tounge: .
