hi all l have a icon on my desk top that l can;t get rid of .l deleted the program but the icon is still there,when l right click and delete it says can;t find program or file.The icon is spyhunter.thanks:wave:

Howdy river...

Have you rebooted since removing the program?

You can so this as well.. Copy down as you will need to follow it


Safe mode with command prompt.

"cd c:\path\to\directory" = change directory to c:\path\to\directory
"." = this directory
".." = this directory's, parent directory
"del file.exe" = delete file, file.exe

thanks for your help l rebooted and it was gone thank jim
