Is it still there after a reboot?

If so, maybe Task Manager can help to close it down or identify the related program.

If it refuses to budge, sometimes booting into Safe Mode will do the trick.

As suggested above, you need to provide more information, i.e. your O/S and any other relevant info about this box.

You would have to contact that sportsbook web site, but I would assume that all bets are final.

Are you saying after you put your bet in then submitted it but the bet amount still in the box? Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies.

Note that if the website is designed to remember who typed what where and it is designed to automatically repopulate the info that you had put in previously, there is nothing you can do.

spywareDr I saw this
When you start typing on a field and the box drops down with previous items, you can use the down-arrow key to highlight them and then press the delete key. You would need to do this for each field on each webpage you wanted to remove items from. is this the way to do it ?

For example, on my blog if I type in the search box it shows a list of previous item. I use the down-arrow to highlight an item I want to delete and press the delete key.

 How would it be possible that anyone else will know without knowing which website you are talking about We cannot see your screen, or read your mind for that matter.

If you think Autofill might solve your problem, give it a try.
