Now, before you yell at me to search the forums, I didn't find my problem when I searched it. Yesterday I was sitting on my laptop when it suddenly gave me the blue screen of death and rebooted. I knew this was rare in XP, unlike in past Windows versions where you'd get it constantly, but it had happened to me before so I had yet to be concerned. It comes to a black screen saying that my computer shut down unexpectedly and it could be because I got new hardware or software, blah blah blah. I hit start windows normally and let it reboot. 30 seconds later, during the Windows XP loading screen it restarts again. That's when I got concerned. It pulls up the screen and I choose another option, load last known useable settings. It did the same thing, so I tried safe mode. Again, the same thing. Now, I know there are things to get rid of the virus, but I can't get my computer to start up to run it. Any suggestions? Or is this a completely different problem altogether? Thanks for any help in advance.
