i had a man helping me with my computer and he said he was going to earse the viruses of the hard drive and i guess he did, but now my computer is not reading my hard drive. now he tells me i need a installation disk for windows xp and my computer would be working and it still doesnt. he says now it wont let him go in and reprogram it. WHAT DO I DO HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM???????

is it a computer or a laptop

check if it is a sata drive that it is set to be seen as ide in the bios

if it is ide check it is being seen by the bios
