I think i may have some sort of problem with my computer. every time I try to go to shoddybattle.com, I get redirected to http://www.clckm.com/?dn=paidmall.net&pid=3PO158M27&prvtof=8b2VkUqfXDeD0AtGtANmcsZ/nks=
which is not a website i would like to go to. I also cannot open the program that I downloaded from shoddybattle.

I'm getting redirected, and also have other trouble

I keep getting redirected when I try to go to the website shoddybattle.com. It is not the website, because I can log onto it from other computers in my home. I also cannot open any of my java powered games. I think something is wrong with my computer. It is an IBM thinkpad T41. It has the newest java update, and windows service pack.

Hello, and welcome. Please do not create multiple threads for the same topic. I've merged your two threads. Reply only here.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads a text file will open (report.txt), you can close it - the file has already been saved.

Please post the contents of the text file that opened earlier (you can find it at C:\fixwareout\report.txt ) in your next reply.

**If you receive an error message while trying to run FixWareout, copy autoexec.nt from the C:\WINDOWS\repair folder to C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder, and run FixWareout again.

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.

1. Close all applications and windows.
2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt <-this one will be minimized
4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt here.
5. Please attach extra.txt to your post.

To attach a file to a new post, simply

1. Click the[Manage Attachments] button under Additional Options > Attach Files on the post composition page, and
2. copy and paste the following into the "Upload File from your Computer" box:
   C:\Deckard\System Scanner\extra.txt

3. Click Upload.

What DSS will do:

• create a new System Restore point in Windows XP and Vista.
• clean your Temporary Files, Downloaded Program Files, and Internet Cache Files, and also empty the Recycle Bin on all drives.
• check some important areas of your system and produce a report for your analyst to review. DSS automatically runs HijackThis for you, but it will also install and place a shortcut to HijackThis on your desktop if you do not already have HijackThis installed.

I would strongly recommend that you uninstall them, however that choice is up to you. If you choose to remove these programs, you can do so via Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:

J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9
Java(TM) 6 Update 2
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

These are all outdated, and security risks by having them installed still. Unfortunately, Java does not uninstall previous version when you update, nor tell you that you should.

Leave Java(TM) 6 Update 3 alone, as it is the most recent.

• Click the Save as Text button to save the file to your desktop so that you may post it in your next reply

* Turn off the real time scanner of any existing antivirus program while performing the online scan

Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble viewing the accept button of the license, click on the Zoom tool located at the bottom right of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license accepted, reset to 100%.

oh no! I'm having basically the same problem again. I can access the website, but Java fails to open the application just like before. What should I do?
