I didn't know so much about CPUs or MB I just know of one of the high end GPUs and 8gig Ram
here's what they gave me

VGA 7970 3G Sapphire
RAM GeIL EVO Veloce Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
CPU AMD FX-8150
CASE SH499 Delux
POWER 750w Green Gold Edition
Mouse G300 Logitech

I went there and said, I've 900$ and I want 7970 plus 8G Ram and the rest except Hard drive and keyboard is on you, And all I do is playing video games with it

and they gave me this, and I came home showing this to my friends and neighbors,
they say its a garbage except GPU
is it true?
just for gaming,
can it handle the most recent Games at full I mean everything ultra high etc

Brand & Model of the Mobo?
I've seen a lot of issues with Geil RAM but if it's working it's probably OK.
My biggest concern would be the PSU. Is there any brand name on the PSU label?

This was cross-posted on elsewhere where he mentioned his mobo was a M5A97Evo pro Asus.

I have to ask though, why did you buy these parts offline if you ended up putting it together yourself anyway? Seems wasteful.

thanks Vadigor for mentioning my MoBo, yeah i had to make sure i'll get as many opinions as i could
and seems here's not as popular as the other one, coz i almost got my answer there with many opinions, while here after one day, i've got one answer, anyway

about PSU well I was convinced by the salesperson with the complete spex he provided toward it and my concern is just the CPU and the Mobo, I dont think if they can handle the recent games or not
Im not really into rendering anything or sth like that

well i think this is where people are suppose to gain experience, but dont forget the fact u can find different prices in different retails, for that GPU i've got more than 3 different prices, and its not what u think about a fixed price everywhere, there are always exceptions

and please if u wanna help, "seems wasteful" is not really helping,
why? and which one could be replaced with what? will help instead
thanks

The 7970 GPU should not have any problems with any games.
That GPU, and the other components, require a sufficient supply of clean power to perform well as well as survive survive and I would be concerned about that PSU being capable.

I've contacted the salesperson and he said that u wont find this product anywhere in US except his own retail
he said its an Iranian/Japanese PSU

and for the details he gave me this address

and about warranty he said he would replace it himself i dont need to worry about that

I was only referring to a fact that was mentioned in that other thread, namely that regular stores will naturally charge a good deal more for the same items. You'd have been able to save quite a bit of money if you'd purchased the components online. The only reason you'd go to a regular store would be either to have them build the system or to rely on their expertise to suggest components and it seems like neither of those reasons apply in this case.

Thanks "Vadigor"

@Tyree
so what do you suggest for a good PSU right now for this rig
and totally for 7970, whats a good PSU and also CPU and MoBo which suits them best

well i may change those three factors, but not at least in this year

SeaSonic & XFX are top quality PSU's.
620W will be fine for your hardware.
