My computer not starting up?Going directly to advanced startup options...?

Hard to say why it's doing that, but you could try to do a windows repair.

I'm fighting through the same problem at the moment. Trying to run a windows repair, but I keep getting kicked to an admin password request. Don't recall ever having one-- where would I find this?

If you didn't have a password, just click Enter....if you did have an Administrator password, we cannot help you bypass your systems security to overcome it.

Also, if the administrator password isn't (blank), then it could be password, or admin.

Those are the basic default admin passwords. If someone on your network did create one, like nickster said, we can not help you bypass that. As that is in our rules here at TSF.

wouldn't the adminstrtor be the one who you normaly log in as?
