I disabled my OS, Windows XP Pro, this morning in msconfig. My display is black and when I restart the F8, F12, or F2 keys are not giving me any options. How can I enable my OS?

My intention was to disable some of the needless programs that open at start up and slow my computer down. Following is the sequence of how I messed up.

1st; I opened msconfig.
2nd; I clicked on Diagnostic Startup in the general tab
3rd; I opened the services tab & disabled all, clicked on apply
4th; The screen went black

I really hope someone out there can advise me how to enable my OS.

I have a Toshiba Satellite.

Can you get it into safe mode? ifso you should be able to get into msconfig.

As far as I know it's impossible to disable XP from the Startup tab in MsConfig.

What happens when you tap F8 during boot?
Can you load "Last Known Good Configuration"?
