Some addition info, this computer was built December 26th. It ran fine for four weeks then started crashing. I was using the Zotac gtx 560 TI but after some research I found that it could be the problem. I replaced the card with Asus HD 6950 Direct CU II. I can also confirm that it is not an overheating problem.
A description of the problem is that when I start playing games everything seems to be fine then eventually the monitor will go black eventually the sound will cut out the monitor will lose signal. Sometimes the fans will speed up other times they wont. After the first time this happens it will keep happening and eventually it will happen the very second I load a game. I do not get an error message.
Intel Core i5-2500k (overlocked to 4.2 ghz)
Asus hd 6950 directcu II
Asus p8z68-v le
Corsair enthusiast series TX 650m
Corsair force series 3 120 SSD
Western digital Caviar Green
Any additional information needed please ask!

What Power Supply do you have in your computer (company and model)?
Please list your Power Supply's wattage.

Also did you fully uninstall your old gtx 560 drivers?
Or did you just install new drivers for your hd 6950?

First thing: drop the overclock and put your CPU, memory and graphics back to factory default settings.

On which drive is your OS and applications installed? What OS? Does this happen with all games or only certain ones?

PS:
On a cold boot, access system BIOS. Look for a Hardware or System Monitor section and find the +3.3 volt, +5 volt and +12 volt and the CPU and system temperatures. Wait for them to stabilize (may take a few minutes) and post them here.

Install HWMonitor and run it in the background as you start a game. Run the game for a few minutes then alt-tab back to your desktop. Take a screen shot of the HWMonitor display and post here.

Thanks for the fast replies!

The psu is a corsair enthusiast series 650l, 650 watts. I did uninstall and clean sweep my old nvidia drivers.

Everything is installed on my SSD currently. Ill drop the clocks now.

Edit: While I wait for the temps to settle out I may aswell add that some days I can play for hours without a crash.
