Explain how four stations (A, B, C, and D) connected to a hub are able to communicate if stations A and B are talking to each other and stations C and D are talking to each other. Repeat for a four-port switch.



Would it be that A and B are directly connected, C and D are directly connected.

And for the Switch one, they are all connected by a router?!??:4-dontkno

Looks like a homework question. You need to learn about a Hub and a switch operate. Once you understand this concept answering the above become straight forward.
