HP PSC 2210 All-In-One Printer Networking

Hello all. I have a question that I would greatly appreciate some help with. Here goes...

I'm running a new wireless network in home with my Windows PC (XP), this HP PSC 2210 Printer, and a new Apple Airport Extreme Base Station (Router). So far (and it's taken a loooooong time) I have only been able to get the printer to print off the network despite the fact that I am sure everything is up to date and the appropriate driver is in use.

So, the problem here is that when this printer is connected directly to the pc My Computer shows an extra removable storage device (the media card reader) and the scanner, but with the printer on the network I cannot seem to find either of these anymore and HP's digital image program (comes with the printer) says there are no "scanner sources" when attempting to scan something.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Most low end MFP's don't have software that supports networked scanning.
